HLB Ireland is pleased to announce the appointment of John Duffy as Audit Partner. John's skillset and extensive experience will further help us to grow and support our clients.

John is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland with more than 30 years of practice experience delivering and coordinating the audits of large domestic and international businesses.

Commenting on the appointment, Managing Partner Mark Butler said, "John is a highly experienced chartered accountant who brings a wealth of experience and practical support to our practice. He will be instrumental, in delivering leading audit and assurance services to our clients and we wish him every success in his new role."

Experience

John is an Audit partner and has extensive experience in delivering and coordinating the audits of large domestic and international groups.

John is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland with more than 30 years of practice experience. He has worked with multinational finance teams, auditing under IFRS, US GAAP and Irish GAAP. John has advised numerous clients that report under IFRS, particularly within the manufacturing, technology, and distribution sectors.

He has extensive business experience, including not-for-profit, technology, professional services, and in key traditional areas such as retail, manufacturing and construction.

In the past, John was a board member of Sophia Housing and is currently a member of the Finance Sub-committee. He has written and contributed to various technical accounting articles published and has also lectured and presented on such topics.
